Ok we will have our first slashpoker luckbox softball team meeting this Sunday, 5pm, location at my house.  If you want to play or are unsure please attend and we'll give out the details and have a team discussion then. 

We will be in the Coed 'E', Wednesday – 12 games for the season

I can field pretty good but I can't hit an underhand pitch.  Not that I was ever a very good batter anyway...

What time will the games be?  Will there be a practice schedule?  Will someone bring snacks for after the games?

The team manager (Mike I believe) brings the snacks for the first game (translation case of beer) and whoever makes the last out in the games brings the snacks for the next game.  Easy right?

I'll always make sure you have a healthy snack and juice box for every game jeff.

We'll discuss practices at the meeting depends on how many people want.  The games will be every wednesdays but the times will change from week to week after 5pm.  I'll get that schedule later on when they have the season game schedule out.

OK donkeys, I'm in.  My other league has Tues-Thurs games so our Mon-Wed schedule works for me.  Guess my liver is in for a pain-party this summer eh?

LOL for lindy, funny stuff. we have 5 girls so far and this league we need to be half and half on the field so one or two more gilrs would be perfect since some will be missing games due to work or being really really annoyed at the drunks they are playing with.  So better safe than sorry.

We need to get at least one more girl on the roster.  I know a couple people that would be happy to be alternates.  If we only have four girls show up then i think we can only play with four guys, that or we have to take an automatic out whenever the fifth girl would appear in the batting order.  Each league handles this differently.  I should know by tomorrow if I have any commitments from the girls I asked, unfortunately they are not only straight but friends of Sam's

I mentioned this to Eric while hiking the other day and the Redheaded Mistress said she would be interested since she used to play.  I told her that I thought we were good, but I can see if she's still interested.  She's not reliable though.
