Oh i want to post first

All I can say about the game tonight is BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA
    AHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

Feel free to add whatever you want but it's about time i got lucky too.  Even though i still can't win a coin flip to save my life good thing i caught a couple of other hands to make up for it.  if i won those coin flips i wouldn't of needed to catch the other hands because i would of eliminated a bunch of the short stacks and wouldn't have to grind my chips back, but again bahahahahahahahah

post and don't be too bitter.

To be fair, a nice pre-flop bet by mrcc chases that luck box out with 10 - 7

Re: Oh i want to post first

Yes Yes I was extremely lucky in that hand but i didn't put most of my chisp in the pot until my hand was made, i bet strong yet conservative enough for me to get away from it if needed, now the call he gave me on the turn was a big warning flag to watch out but when i hit the money card on the river, i knew i was getting paid off just didn't know how much.  I did want to give him a chance to commit himself all in.

If you read my other post I wouldn't care about knocking out 10 7 even wtih JJ you're so far behind that you want those people to call, especiallly after you hit a set on the flop and the turn brings you four of a kind, I would bet people with Aces sets, flushes everything in that pot, it's just a freak occurance that his quads got beaten by a straight flush.  And both hands were hidden too it wasn't like there were 3 jacks on the board or 4 cards to a straight flush on the board, that's what makes it even more amazing of a hand, in my opinion.  if the board had 2345 of clubs so all someone needed was the Ace or 6 of clubs to make 2 straight flushes i may play it a bit more cautious but the only hand that could beat his four of a kind was the 10 7 of clubs, again just really unlucky.............in that hand :-)

I got unlucky in about 3 or 4 hands earlier in that game, and lucky once against a short stack which wouldn't of mattered because it was against stef and if i lost that i would of lost about 500 in chisp when i had about 2500 so it's ok to get lucky in those spots :-)

Re: Oh i want to post first

Ron getting "unlucky" is not losing coin flips.  Also not really sure how to beat you guys when you seem to hit a flush, straight, fh,four of kind, straight flush on each hand.  I was just hoping for top pair at some point in the game.

Re: Oh i want to post first

want to know what the funny thing is, that is th second time i outdrew a monster hand this week because someone else slow played their monster.  Monday night i was playing in a 20 dollar sit n go and we're down to the final 3 people and i'm the chip leader with over 4k in chips the person 2nd in chips who is overly aggressive player is at about 3k in cihps and then the third place guy has barely over 200 and the blinds are 75/150.  well i'm in the big blind again but this time with Q 6 offsuit, so any strong raise from the short stack and i'm out and same thing with the big stack because no point in getting in a battle wtih him just yet, i'll pick my spot better but more where i'm the aggressor and not the caller.  Anyway he limps from the button, so i figure he has a strong hand because he never ever ever did that the entire game he either raised or folded.  well the short stack calls and i check.

the flop comes A 6 6, and again I have Q 6 offsuit, so i figure i'll check raise the aggressive guy.  sb checks, i check and the aggressive button checks....hmmm didn't expect that.  Well the turn comes another 6, so i'm sitting on quad sixes.  this time the sb checks I lead out 400 and the button just calls me...sweet going to get action with my quads.  the river is a blank and it's  just me and the aggressive guy, so i lead out 600 chips, he thinks and minimum re-raises me(which he never does) to 1200, sweet i guess he has the ace, so i just think then re-raise him all in and he calls sooooooo fast, he held pocket aces, and he slow played himself into me getting quads, he flopped aces over sixes and checked me into quads.  Again both times people slow played me into monster hands, don't you just love that and they both changed their normal aggressive play to send up th warnings that they had a hand.....so it works out even better.

I wound up winning that because after i got his chips it was easy to pound on the 1k short stack.

Re: Oh i want to post first

Stop your bitc hin, when i said i got unlucky, i know it's a coin flip...but let's be honest when you're sitting on a big chip stack you can play power poker and you want to get into coin flip situations against short stacks taht will barely dent your stack for gambling with them....now if you noticed at any of the home games or online games have you ever seen me win a one of those coin flips and it usually takes me losing 2-3 of those late in a game for me to get knocked out....that's without winning one.  Heck Mike even pointed out at your home game i can't win a coin flip and it carries over to online sometimes too Stick out tongue

yes it is unlucky to lose 3 coin flips in a row. because that 50/50 never hit the 50 your way.

But yeah that sng there were a ton of hands being hit, mrcc hit 2 flushes a straight, i hit 2 full houses and a straight flush, i hit nothing else the entire night but picked up some pots uncontested and picked off a couple of bluffs with middle pair and a paired board when i had a different pp.

Re: Oh i want to post first

I will point out the coin flip hand against kevin, he was on the button and made a standard raise and i'm sitting on AK, i hate calling with that hand especially 4 handed, i rather be aggressive on the bubble because that's when more people like to fold to creep in the money plus kevin is on an average stack so perfect type of player to put pressure on to lay down hands and if he calls me he probably has AJ, AQ...a number of hands I completely dominate or a coin flip scenario, he could have AA or KK but then that's just unfortunate and unlucky espeically 4 handed when i'm holding one A and one K, so a re-raise is right there, he decided to gamble with his 1010 and it held up, oh well i have chips to work back and wound up picking up a couple of uncontested blinds and pots with rags, then picked up a couple of hands after that and one good gamble with my KJ of spades and i was back in it like a champ :-)

Re: Oh i want to post first

I am not saying they were bad plays.  Just don't call it unlucky when you are all in against a made hand.  I also noticed you sucked out on Stef to knock her out you had trips she had flush on turn, and you hit fh on river.

I would like to say my biggest hand was J4, only cause N8 play is so transparent and you just have to reraise him, then after a while he will get tilted and call all his chips with top pair.

I don't have the stats but I want to see how many people went all in on flush draws and hit, seemed like it was pretty high.  I also like the MRCC style of going all in for like 10x the pot with KJ, then he did it again with JJ and I was so close to calling with 86, can't deny the power of the 86, sooted I am in so fast.

Re: Oh i want to post first

I'm not calling the one coin flip unlucky but if you flip a coin 10 times and lose 10 times then that's unlucky even if each individual flip is 50/50.  anywhoooo :-)

Oh and i did suck out on Stef but that was an odd spot.  She only had like 500 in chips and i had about 2500 and i hit a set of fives on the flop, now the board was J 10 5.  and 4 or 5 players in the hand and i'm second to act, and lots of cards that could of hit other people and draws could of hit other people, so i was check raising someone especially with this aggressive table, somehow nobody bet so i didn't put anyone on a draw or pair, well the turn brought the 9....ok someone could of made a straight but i figure they would of bet te flop, well stefanie bets out strong, perfect person for me so i re-raise all my chisp so nobody else calls with any draws and if she has me beat oh well i am still over 2k in chips, she had a made straight..she changed up her play and it worked out well, i happened to outdraw her, that's just curse of being short stacked to get sucked out like that.

Re: Oh i want to post first

did you really get such bad cards or do you just stink Stick out tongue

yeah i remember that JJ hand, he played that utg like they were aces, limp raise from Tao, you call then he moves all in, i liked it because that's a good way to pick up the pot, tao could of been raising with a bunch of random hands, he's an aggressive mix it up player, you were probably calling with a mediocre hand looking to play on the flop and he picked it up right there with a re-raise all in figuring you and tao were mediocre hands.

Re: Oh i want to post first

Wow thanks for posting that hand, i love that play.  by time that turn hit when stef check raised me, i bet out 150 and got 3 callers(free 450 in chips) and she raised me all in for 350 chips more, since you guys are calling with mediocre stuff most likely i re-raise like a monster pushing you out, picking up your dead money and go heads up with a short stack ok she was ahead and i got lucky but man i got good odds for a lot of money.  if i call her 350 i get at least one caller after me and i don't want that.  I was suprised she had a made straight but hey it happens I wouldn't of lost much but i had a ton to gain.  Taht's the key of that hand I think.
