Well you have to figure 35 to 40 minutes per SNG and most of the time I was playing two at a time, so yes it is quite a few hours and your hourly rate is going to be complete crap at that limit. Your hourly rate will not even get close to respectable until I bet $50 sng's.
You would real suprised if you kept tract of all your sessions at poker and then looked at your hourly rate, it might actually be kind of depressing, but it all depends on how you look at it. Is it a hobby that actually makes a little money or it is second job where you need to make an hourly rate. Right now it is a hobby for me, once I move into the higher limit games it could become the second job that buys all my toys.
I played 100 sng's and get 5 fpp's per sng so 500 total fpp's.
"you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or male or female slave, or ox, or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor." I can't covet my neighbors donkey, this blows I am out of here.

Re: SNG Challenge 10's Over
ehhh I see why you say 200 but the casual player comes to play poker online once or twice a week and they are happy if they get into one or two tournaments every now and then so why not just throw 50 dollars in your account, everyone can afford to throw 50 dollars into your account for entertainment once every few months and stick with the 5 dollar sng's and they may not be as comfortalble parting with 200 dollars into an online account. My thought is any money I put into my poker account is considered gone and if i withdraw any, bonus. So put in there the amount you don't care if you lost it tomorrow. Would your play be affected if you put 200 dollars in there where you feel bad losing that much or 50 dollars where if you lost 50 you feel "so what"
5 dollar sng's is the perfect area for beginners because the way to succeed at these 5 dollar sng's is tight play, jus tget used to what are good starting hands and how to be a tight aggressive player and you should be profitable with just this style in these level, yes it will be a slow profit but this is the perfect level and way to play when starting out. Plus 50 dollars gives you roughly 10 games, more if you cash in one or three.
They put those 1 dollar sng's on there, stay away stay away, unless you are bored and want to do silly stuff, don't go there and get mad at outdraws or people calling all in with no pair, nothing but undercards to the flop and no draws. 1 dollar tourneys are crazy play, I think playing there could do nothing but injure your game if you start playing like the players there. If you can play tight enoguh to beat the 1 dollar game, move up to 5 dollar as fast as you can.
<----I hate tournaments and tournaments hate me, so I'm loading up on all the donkey luck I can for the next ones :-)

Re: SNG Challenge 10's Over
Oh and maybe tha'ts how some people come up with their facts they say I won 1100, ok in reality they still have 100 dollars in their account but I guess over time they have technically won 1100 because they broke even playing in 100 ten dollar sng's. their profit is 0% though.
I will say this though, that is sitll a win, if you enjoy playing poker and you can break even over time and you're enjoying yourself, well that's a win because you are gambling with real money and not having to deposit anymore. There is nothing wrong with that.
