Yeah well, have you ever driven out to McCarthy?  There is a bridge out there that scared the bejeezus outta me.  I stopped the car and told the wife to drive and I climbed into the middle of the back seat, closed my eyes and cried like a girl all the way across.

Everything was fine once we got to McCarthy until I realized we had to cross it once more to get to civilization.  The wife was somewhat embarassed when I fell to the ground, curled up into the fetal position and started moaning "no, no, no".

How much money do people that were on the real world and road rules really make?  I mean these kids are on the reality shows and do club appearances, some commercials and find any opportunity to get on other reality shows, is it really worth that much to where you don't need to work and you push to never do anything substantial but be on more reality shows.  Don't get me wrong if makes me in the high 7 figures I'd be on reality road rules 59 but how much do they get paid for their kiddie drama....this counts for other shows too, if i see amorosa in another program i'm going to kick the t.v.....if she really did have a ph.d. and work for the president how much is she making to where she can't get a better career where she's not known as the worlds biggest ***.

Well the reason they came up with reality shows is because they are super cheap to make. I am pretty sure it is like stock options, big promises if the company ever makes it big, but really more of a carrot to keep you doing what they want for minimal money. Or like not getting a raise, but a title change to something with 8 words in it that sounds important. Same stuff. =)

I believe that but where and why are these people doing reality show after reality show, you see people on them that turn into reality show whores, is there money in it after the show that's really worth it, or do they just love their 15 minutes of fame so much that they refuse to go back to the real world of getting a real job.

Yup, it is the 15 min. It is like the guy that won state in high school football always talking about it. They get stuck in that time and it defines them as people. Then, they are too  good for anything but TV.

I just might be in heaven.  Someone told me about this group of hardcore Trekkie's who got Gene Roddenberry's son's blessing to produce their own final season of the original version of the series.  I am downloading them now and will be spending the rest of my day at work watching them....I'll let you know what this sci-fi geek thinks.
