Funny, I'm down here by Morongo right now. I've played there before. Actually don't like their poker room too much...when you sign up for a game you have to stand around inside the poker room. No pagers, etc and it's cramped in there. Atleast they have restrooms in the poker room though.
Anyway, I think for this to work you'd have to really trust the player. Most poker players KNOW they are the best and would not want to give up their stack to let someone else play it. Poker players tend to be non-team players. To be a successful poker player you almost have to believe that no one else could possibly play close to your ability.
I know a couple of players that I'd trust but doubt it would go the same for them. For instance, I would completely trust my brother to play and know that he did his best but I'm not sure he'd trust me because I know he KNOWS he's better than me. I"ll have to ask him in a few minutes when he picks me up. :)
The other thing about this is that styles can sometimes be vastly different. Stack sizes adjust according to those styles and that might interfere with the other player's style. I also wondered how you would know the players you're up against but I guess they are all switching at the same time so you'd be playing against the same opponents.
