Back on the horse.

Where to start?

I think we all find ourselves in a cycle when it comes to playing poker. I for one bounce between nothing but live games to nothing but online poker. I am a tournament player at heart and so I tend to follow the large mtt season online. The last couple of months the big sattelites have been pretty calm and so I have let my online game go lax. I have noticed that if I do not play at least a couple of times a weak, I slip into passive poker and it takes me a good couple of weeks to break the habit. My goal this time is to avoid that rut and come back with a bang. I have been watching a lot of the folks that post here doing very well at SNGs on Stars, so I think I will get back into them. I originally built my bankroll playing nothing but SNGs and I think once you get good at them, they are a consistant source of money. I found myself having fewer bankroll swings while playing SNGs instaed of cash games. I think I will play 50 or so over the next month and track my stats. This way I will see if it takes me a while to ramp back up or not.
